JOB DESCRIPTION Almond Valley is establishing a community garden cultivating traditional fruit and vegetables as a public display and learning resource. Were seeking a project coordinator to help steer the garden project and provide supervision and support for our volunteers. You'll be involved in recruiting new volunteers, organising bookings, delivering safety training, and planning the succession of crops, as well as significant practical involvement in the manual work of the project. You are likely to have considerable horticultural experience, energy and a passion for promoting home grown food. You will be a fluent and inspirational communicator, an effective organiser, and take pleasure in encouraging and sharing skills with volunteers, particularly families with young children.
