JOB DESCRIPTION The NHS Lanarkshire Department of Medical Education seek enthusiastic trainees looking to develop an interest in teaching and training to fill two clinical teaching fellow post for a period of one year in the first instance. The post will become vacant in August 2012. Working in association with the Director of Medical Education, the Lead Clinical Skills. Officer and the three Hospital Sub-deans, the post-holders will contribute to the delivery of medical teaching in medicine and surgery. If they have been trained in a specialty (for example obstetrics and gynaecology) they may also be asked to contribute to teaching in this field. As relevant to their previous clinical experience they will also contribute to the development and delivery of the NHSL skills-based teaching programme for junior trainees.
